John's supporting role in the feature film, Do Elephant's Pray? was in the Market at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival whilst he has also recently completed a run of the Restoration Comedy, The Man of Mode at the Bridewell Theatre.

In 2010, John appeared in The Shoemakers Holiday where he played Firk at the Royal Shakespeare Company's open air space, The Dell. He has also recently appeared in a number of short films, one of which was the high profile Hammered written by Noel Clarke.
